Today Olivia is three weeks old! She is doing very well. She continues to eat almost every two hours but we are trying to extend that to at least 2 1/2 but three hours is the number. You can tell just by looking at her that she has gained more weight so I took her off formula. She seems to be much more content without it. She continues to do well at night, going to bed around ten sleeping for about five hours straight then back to bed for two to four hours. She still sleeps majority of the day. Just in the last day or so I have been laying her down awake and she has been falling asleep on her own. She likes to be swaddled and likes the paci, even though it doesn't stay in mouth very long. When she is awake during the day she is becoming aware of things going on. We brought out her baby mat and she enjoys looking at all the toys hanging. She also likes the fan.
If you have ever had this mat for your baby then you will understand that Olivia's new best friend is "the star".
I am continuing to fell a little better each day. Grace went to my mom's house for a few days to give me some time to heal. My sister and her family came in town so she should have fun at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house. I do miss her!!!
