Gingerbread Cookies

***I added several post tonight. Make sure to check them all out.***

We decided to decorate cookies with Gracie on Saturday to continue to get into the Christmas spirit. Grace was in love this project. I think she would of made a dozen of them if we would of let her .

Breakfast with Santa

Maw Maw took mommy and the girls to have breakfast with Santa at the Ritz at Lake Oconee. We had a great time, great food, great Santa and great company! The girls both wore their new Christmas pajamas. Grace still does not like the man in the red suit. We talked about seeing him for a couple days. I would explain that we tell Santa what we want for Christmas. We watched videos on YouTube of happy children seeing Santa but each time she would tell me that she wanted mommy to tell Santa what she wants or that Olivia could sit on his lap. Santa came and talked to us at the breakfast table and Grace made eye contact with him. We visited him at his chair but she wouldn't sit on his lap. Olivia did! We got a family picture with the photographer of the three of us with Santa (Olivia on this lap and mommy holding Gracie). The picture below is of Santa kneeling beside our table. The expression on her face sums up her feelings about him.

Gracie drinking hot chocolate or "coffee" like her daddy!
Other then Santa, Gracie had a GREAT time. Thank you Maw Maw!!!

Gingerbread House

On Thanksgiving evening we all went to the Ritz up at Lake Oconee to see the lights and Gingerbread house. The house is huge and it is really neat to see all the candy it is made out of. And the lights are absolutely beautiful. Grace had a fun time running through several trees full of lights!

My Aunt Kathy and Uncle John
Our attempt of a family picture taken by ourselves. It makes me laugh!

Thanksgiving

The Maddox family continues to be blessed and has so much to be Thankful for. This year we spent Thanksgiving week at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's lake house. Aunt Kathy and Uncle John joined us for a few days as well. Grace LOVES spending time with her grandparents and there is so many fun things to do!

Gracie helped Maw Maw make a cake.
With our backs turned Olivia found a M&M left on the floor. She seems to enjoy her first taste of chocolate.
An awesome picture with Maw Maw!
Grace was so excited that the little golf cart got put together. We were worried about her being big enough for it, but she loved "driving"!
She was told that this golf cart was to share with Hudson, Tyler and Olivia. So she made sure Olivia got a turn!
The girls enjoyed swimming in the "little" pool.

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

Maw Maw, Paw Paw, Mommy, Daddy and Olivia joined Gracie for a Thanksgiving feast at her school on Tuesday! Grace was so excited and proud to see us waiting for her in the gym to eat, her face even turned bright red. What a fun day!

Even Olivia enjoyed the food, in fact I think she ate more then all of us put together.

Don't worry it's coming

I have been at my parents since Tuesday night. We have taken lots of pictures but I have had no way of downloading them. Be on the look at for losts of post coming soon!!!

Soccer Saturday

Today was a soccer day...ALL day. The girls did great as always and it's always fun hanging out with daddy.

I love these pictures but they make Olivia look too big!
Grace and her buddy Cory. They are so fun to watch playing together.

Soccer can wear one out.
The small body under the table is Grace. No nap Saturday will do that to you!

Priceless

Cost of having kids...

New Mini Van.......................................................a couple thousand dollars

New Car Seats.......................................................a couple hundred dollars

New clothes............................................................a couple hundred dollars

Seeing your child take her first steps by pushing an empty box.....Priceless!

Maw Maw Paw Paw and Beanie Babies

On Friday night Grace spent the night with Maw Maw and Paw Paw. She was so excited about going and we were told she was a very good girl. Chad and I were able to have a nice quiet evening on Friday night and able to sell items in a yard sell on Saturday. We then went to pick Grace up and allow Olivia to spend some quality time with them also. Thanks Maw Maw and Paw Paw!!!

As Chad was going through the attic for yard sell items he found all our old beanie babies. He pulled them out and him and Grace had a field day playing with them!
