Candy Solves All

On Wednesday Grace and I had a very scary experience. I went to Kroger to run in for a quick pick up of two or three items. Grace begged to sit in the back of the cart which I allowed and I put Olivia in her seat in the top part. Being the short person I am I can't really see over Olivia. I was backing up the cart in the parking lot and the same time Grace began to stand up. YES she flow out and landed on her head/face. It scared me to death to see her laying on her face on concrete. I calmly picked her up, looked for blood or bones and then comfort her for a few minutes. Once inside an employ gave her a sucker which dried up the tears right away. By the time we got to the soccer fields she was still pitiful so I gave her chocolate candy. Candy makes everything better.

You can see some of the redness on the side of her face. It went away in just a few short hours, but she still has a knot on that side of her head.

Three Months Old

She is three months old!!! I can't believe Olivia is three months old. She is such a sweet girl and we continue to enjoy every minute of her. She has now rolled over a couple of times. I still am not sure she meant too or even knows she did it but none the less she has rolled both stomach to back and back to stomach. She continues to sleep in a swing majority of the time but is finally starting to sleep in the pack-n-play and crib. She is a good sleeper...she goes down between nine and ten at night and sleep till anywhere between four and six in the morning, eats for a few minutes and then goes back to sleep. She takes several cat naps during the day plus one long nap from about one to four. I feel very blessed I get that time when everyone is sleeping. She still eats about every three hours during the day. Olivia is a little motor mouth cooing and squealing at us. She has found her hands and loves to suck on the back of her hand. She continues to love her paci. She likes playing on the floor on her back and a little on her tummy. Her head control is getting better and better each day. She can hold her head up on her tummy for a minute of so now. She loves water and we are excited about our first beach trip with her at the end of June.

Till next week

Big weekend ahead. Here are a few pictures till next week when I post again.

GT Girl

You never know what she is going to come out of her room looking like...

Gracie can't decide if she wants to be like mommy (reading her book) or like Olivia (sitting in the bouncy seat).

Happy Birthday Hudson

Today my nephew Hudson is two years old. He is turning into such a handsome little boy and is so fun to be around. Hudson and my sister are in town right now but unfortunately Hudson is sick. Some how Hand, Foot and Mouth disease has spread through Grace, Hudson and Aidan. Grace and Aidan had a very mild case but Hudson has it BAD. Bless his heart he has been sick since Saturday with a fever, the rash all over his body and blisters in his mouth and down his throat. They are having a hard time getting him to eat and drink. Please left this little boy up in your prayers today that he will start healing.

I didn't get the memo

Today was dress in your turtle shirt day...but nobody gave me the memo.

One day you will be big enough to play up there.
Olivia is on the move on her stomach now. She brings her knees up under her body and then pushes off. She is our little inch worm inching her way around the room. Is that normal for a two month old?

Monday Night at Home

We don't get many nights just to hang around the house. Last night we were able to eat outside and just hang out together...well the girls just hung out while Chad cut the grass.
