What a week...

It's been such a long week and it is still only Thursday. The one good thing was finding out we were having a girl on Monday! But on Sunday morning Grace came down with a 102 fever. We already had a flu shot scheduled on Monday so we took her to the doctor to hear it was just viral and it would need to take its course. The fever lasted forever, at least that is what it felt like. I went three days without keeping other kids and today we are finally back to normal. Well...maybe not normal, Grace is still snotty and crabby, we are cleaning out rooms and closets trying to make room for baby, and we are trying to start planning Christmas presents.

I have added a picture of Grace sleeping b/c that is what she seemed to enjoy the most this past week.

Here is a picture of Grace sitting on the new pup. Copa is such a good dog and will let Grace anything to her.

And here is a picture of me. I got a haircut. Yeah! We went to visit Maw Maw yesterday b/c we were getting cabin fever and she offered to watch Grace so I could run errands. I feel like a new woman.

It's official, it's a...

Girl!!!

The baby was still very stubborn during this morning's ultrasound, with it's little legs crossed, but we finally got a good view. I am SO excited about having more pink in the house and more bows in the hair. We are leaning towards the name Olivia Rae but not 100% sure yet.

Family Night

Last night we had a well deserved family night. We spend time with each other at the soccer fields, at church, with friends and family but rarely just the three of us go out. So as soon as Chad got home from work we loaded up the car and went to eat dinner and then went to see a movie. Yes friends, we took Grace to see the Bee Movie. We had so much fun and Grace was awesome, she exceeded my expectations. She was amazed by the big screen. At the beginning every time a preview would end she would sign more and then say, "AGAIN, AGAIN". And once the movie begin she was great, she sat with Chad, then me, then her own chair, then the cycle started over again and all the while we all ate some of her Halloween candy. She did become a little squirmy near the end but I took her to the bathroom put on her pjs and then she came back in and watched the rest of the movie. As soon as she hit the carseat at 10PM she was sound asleep. What a great night!!!

I didn't get any pictures of us out but I got some of Grace waiting for daddy in the front yard!

What do you do when you daughter picks flowers for you, you put them behind your ear...even if they are dead.
On a side note: The new baby is on the move. I started feeling it about two or three weeks ago but Chad felt it last night!!! It is truly one of the most amazing things. I forgot how much I enjoyed feeling Grace move around in my tummy. And on Monday we go in for another ultrasound. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that the baby cooperates this time.

Halloween Night

Grace was a pumpkin princess for Halloween. She was not real happy about putting the custom on, but once I got it on her and she saw herself in the mirror she did awesome. We went as a family to The Orchard and went trick-or-treating with the youth group. Grace LOVED getting candy. She kept telling her daddy, "more candy". She would knock on the door, say, "trick treat", say "welcome", and then exclaim "CANDY" as she walked away. I got one blurry picture of her trick or treating but that's it. I hope everyone had a great evening.

She is watching a airplane.

Grace would not let go of her candy.
We went by Aidan's house. Isn't he a cute elephant?
CANDY!!!

Yes, that is three suckers in her mouth at one time. She doesn't play around with candy!

Happy Halloween

Aren't' they all so cute in their Halloween shirts!

This morning we made pumpkin cookies. NO, they are not naked but shirts came off to avoid orange frosting mess!

Exciting Weekend

Saturday we went to our first pumpkin carving party. It was Grace's first experience with the inside of a pumpkin. She is such a girl and did not like the guts! We had a wonderful time with other families from our church and hope to do it again next year.

If you can't see it...it's a bat!

Daddy is so funny.

Grace had fun playing with the tools

Every bodies pumpkin together.

All the kiddos together. Did you notice that Grace is the ONLY girl?

The pumpkins once it got dark. How fun!

Today we went to Abby's 1st birthday party. Abby is one of my good friends little girl. Grace and Abby are exactly nine months apart. That seems like a big age difference now but as they grow I am sure it will not seem so big.
Happy Birthday Abby!

Daddy and Gracie watching everything.
Grace wanted a front or front back row view of Abby opening presents.

Grace held up these bloomers and said, "COOL"!

The zoo in South Carolina

Today was our last day in South Carolina. We had an awesome time at the zoo before the rain came. The kids were so good and we all had a great time!

How many people can say they have fed a giraffe?
Grace's first time milking a cow.

What does an elephant say?
The monkeys were so cool and they were so LOUD. Grace just giggled at them.

The zoo sure can wear you out.

***Make sure you check out the last couple of post. I added more pictures...an ultrasound picture too.
