Olivia's five months old

Olivia is five months old. She is a HAPPY baby. She is rolling over both ways and loves being on her belly. She pushes up on her arms and pushes her self around in circles and around the room. She tries to sit up but does that fall forward where her belly is between her legs. She loves sleeping on her belly and now even rolls on her side to sleep. When she wakes in the morning she rolls are on her back, plays with her toes and coos til someone comes to get her. (NO...she is still not sleeping all through the night.) She enjoys being around people and really likes watching her big sister play. Olivia likes playing with all her toys and tries how to fit each in her mouth. She giggles if you tickle her in the right place or if Grace is silly with her. She now grabs anything that gets close; Grace's shirt, my hair, drinks or food. Olivia loves to play in her exersaucer and johnny jump up, she is a very active little girl when she is awake. She is on a pretty good routine of two naps a day and a catnap in the evening. But being off schedule doesn't seem to bother her either, she will sleep just about anywhere with any type noise going on. She is eating cereal twice a day and just started baby food this week. So far she has had pears and peas...no objection to either. I officially have her off of her GERD medicine for a little over a week now! YEAH! She seems to be doing OK. She still spits up a lot but she is a happy spiter.
She is so funny with her tongue!

Sail Away

Yesterday we had our friend Riley come hang out with us in the morning. Riley is 5 1/2 years old so I was trying to think of some fun things for older kids to do. So we decided to make homemade sailboats.

Three Post in One...

SAVANNAH
This past weekend Chad and I (with Olivia) spent the weekend in Savannah to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Chad and I met in 1994 in Stateboro when we were both in school at Georgia Southern. We were neighbors in Greenbriar and began dating in January 1995. We were engaged in 1997 with our wedding in July of 1998 just a few months after we graduated. The last ten years have been amazing. Some of my favorite moments are our wedding, our first home, helping plant a new church and the birth of both our little girls. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the years to come. I love you baby!

Picture of all of us at The Crab Shack on Tybee Island
On Friday and Saturday night we sat on River Street and enjoyed watching everything going on.
We stayed at the Hyatt on River Street.
We had an amazing view from our room.
I loved watching the big boats come in.
Hanging out at the City Market.
The only time we got in our car was to go to Tybee for dinner one night. The rest of the time we walked. It is SO pretty down there. I loved walking River Street and the historical squares.

OLD STOMPIN' GROUNDS
On our way down to Savannah it only seemed appropriate to go by the Stateboro to reminisce. We had some good times at Georgia Southern.

LASER SHOW
After we retrieved Grace from my parents we set off to Stone Mountain to meet the youth for the Laser Show Sunday night.

Grace and Olivia with my friend, Mary Ellen's, girls. Grace loves all the girls. She was so cute being motherly to Abby the youngest, running around with Lizzy, copying Maddy and loving on Caydn the oldest. (Abby is missing from the picture)

What we've been up to...

What have we been up to this week?

We have been busy this week. Chad and I are helping build out a room at our church and making it into a "Blue's House" for the youth. The girls have joined us every night till VERY late. They have been so good and the room is coming along.

Look at Gracie's sleepy eyes. She is with Heather in this picture. She loves hanging out with "Header".

I have been working on learning more about the sewing machine. Here are a couple of my projects this week.

Reversible Bib

A little nursery tote for Sundays.

Chad and I leave tomorrow to go to Savannah to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.

My Simple Indulgence

Tuesday evening we met a friend, Luana, from our church at Fort Yargo Park. Luana has her own boutique business My Simple Indulgence. She had made several pieces of jewelry to match the Gymboree lines and wanted my girls and Danica to have a photo shoot wearing the items. Here is a little peek of the night. The first picture is my favorite.

No Title

I don't have a fun title today just a couple of pictures of what we have been up to.

Olivia loves the exersaucer and being outside!
Grace's favorite thing right now..."cut, cut"...scissors!
Grace found her hat and put on Olivia the other morning, then turned to me and told me to go get the camera.
Does she look like she is enjoying this?

I found on another mother's website where she has muffin tin Mondays. Every Monday she serves her child food out of her muffin tin. I am always looking for new things to do so we tried it today. Grace loved it, she giggled as soon as I put it in front of her. (Aidan, the little boy I keep, really liked it too.) I think we found something new to do on Mondays.
Green beans, applesauce, graham cracker sticks, blueberries, roast beef and cheese. The first thing Grace went for was the roast beef.

Eat Mor Chikin

You can't be part of the Chick-fil-a family all these years and not go to Cow Appreciation Day. We ALL dressed up like cows and headed out for lunch at our local Chick-fil-a. A little nervous that we would be the only ones dressed up. MAN...the place was packed with families and day cares. I got a free combo and Grace and Aidan got free kid meals. They loved watching everyone but when "the Cow" came out to visit everyone mine kids freaked out. Grace literally jumped over the table screaming when she was the cow. I know she was scared but I could help but laugh. All I heard the whole way home was, "NO, COW!".
We had a fun time even if I did feel a little silly!
