One Month Old

Grace turned one month old on Sunday. She has had a busy first month but has adjusted well. Sometimes it is hard to get out of her, but she is now smiling at people. She enjoys laying under her gym mat and playing, although she still sleeps the majority of the day. This month we will start to work on putting her on a routine. Grace is a good eater, she likes to eat about every three hours. She is such a sweet girl! I don't know what we did without her in our lifes.

Lake Trip

Grace went on her first overnight trip this past weekend. Grace, Mommy and Daddy all went to the lake from Friday night to Sunday night. Granmeme, Maw Maw, Paw Paw, Auntie Carrie, and Uncle Eric were all there. She did very well away from home and loved all the attention from her family. Her daddy enjoyed his first hunting experience on Sunday with Uncle Eric and Paw Paw.

Grace started smiling at faces this week. This is a picture of her biggest smile.

4 Weeks Old

Today Grace is four weeks old!

1st Bath

Tonight Grace got her 1st bath. It took her mommy and daddy a few minutes to figure out how to use the infant tub. But once it was figured out and we got her in, she enjoyed it!

3 Weeks Old

On Thursday I was three weeks old!

Gracie is doing well and learning to adapt to her parents' busy schedule. She is eating every three hours and is starting to stay awake a little longer during the day.

Aquarium

Today mommy, daddy, Gracie, and Granmeme went to the Georgia Aquarium. There were a lot of cool fish to see. Grace did not see many because she slept most of the time. Afterwards we went to the Varsity to eat!

Granmeme has arrived

Granmeme (Chad's mom) arrived from Illinois on Sunday afternoon. We are so excited to have her here!!!

Two Weeks Old

Yesterday Grace turned two weeks old!

Chad has gone back to work this week, but has been able to come home early some days to give mommy a break. Next week he will be taking the whole week off since his mom is coming in town.
Grace is doing well, she still sleeps alot. She does pretty well at night. On a good night she wakes at 1 AM, 4 AM, & 7AM to eat. We took her to the Mexican restaurant last night. She will have to learn to love that place since her parents usually go there about once a week.

Doctors Appointment

Grace had a doctors appointment this morning to check on her weight. We were very proud of her... she had gained 11oz since last Monday! She is almost back up to her birth weight. She is currently 8lbs 11oz.

Big Weekend

Grace learned how busy her mommy and daddy stay. This weekend we went shopping at the mall, went out to dinner, went to church, went out to lunch with friends, and went to a Super Bowl Party. Grace was a very good girl. The picture shown is of Grace right before she made her church appearance.

One Week Old

I was one week old yesterday!

My first walk

Today Grace was able to go on her first family walk. She was such a good girl, she slept the whole time. It was nice for all of us to get out of the house, even if we had to walk very slow due to Amy.

She is off the lights

We received the phone call from the doctor today at 1:30pm...she is officially off the lights!!! We are so excited to be able to hold her whenever we want.
