Shaving Cream

When I use to teach a special needs class we always played in shaving cream. I kept thinking it would be a fun thing to do with Grace, so last night at Target we bought some. What fun we had! At first she wasn't too sure about getting messy (that's my girl) but then she was all into it. I was worried about putting it in her mouth but she didn't even try.

Update

Grace is now twenty months old. It makes me so sad that she is growing up so fast. But I am also so proud of the little girl she is becoming. Grace loves playing soccer with daddy, she even has a "gooooaaaaallll" dance. She loves coloring, putting together puzzles and building with blocks. She has two friends that she plays really well with...Corey and Erin. It is so cute watching them holding hands, chasing each other, playing ring around a rosy, etc. Grace loves being outside! We have many fits when it is time to come back inside (you can only imagine how many times we have to go outside each day with a new puppy). She is continuing to put two word sentences together, my favorite is "my daddy", of course I usually hear it when she is in trouble. She now uses no and yes appropriately but her favorite word is NO. She is not too fond of a stroller and high chair, she has started sitting in a booster seat every once in a while. And she thinks she is hot stuff when she helps me feed Carson, who is 12 months old. Grace can now tell you about 10 animal sounds (I'll try to get some video of it) and we are starting to work on some colors. She is becoming such a little ham. Below is a video of her dancing or should I say shaking her booty. Enjoy!

As you see their is never a dull moment in our house. Daddy turns his head for one minute and look who is in the tub. She is a lab!

16 1/2 weeks

If this doesn't make you laugh I don't know what will.

Saturday with Chad's family

On Saturday we went to the mountains near Dawsonville to spend time with Granmimi, Pops, Uncle Ryan, Mema, and several other family members. We had a great time hanging out and visiting.

We all loved the water

On Friday night Uncle Don, Carl, and Uncle Ryan went fishing at Lake Lanier. The caught over 60 fish. Grace loved looking at the fish. On Saturday night we had a fish fry.
We had a lot of fun going 4-wheeling through all the land! As you see Grace's first reaction was "GET ME OFF"...but then she loved it.
Grace being a show off.

Who is afraid of bears? Not Gracie.

Random pictures and a video

Last week I took Grace and Erin to the Toddler park in Loganville, it was so much fun.

Grace has a new love for the camera, taking pictures. So I found my old 35mm camera for her to play with. She walks around and ask people to say "cheese". Her technique is just a little off.
Here is Grace on our way to church in her new outfit Maw Maw got her. It is so cute on her. Thanks Maw Maw!!!
To Maw Maw and Paw Paw: Do you still want to know why we undress when we eat?
Why is it so amusing to watch a dog eat???
Since Copa doesn't like her crate we had to find something else to do with it. Does anyone have a problem with this? Just Kidding....Copa actually is doing really well in the the crate at night and while we are gone. And Grace really likes the crate when we are home.

Here is a video of Grace and her new shoes. I think it is so funny. Don't worry, you can turn the sound off.

A WHAT???

That's right! We got a new puppy. We all wanted and needed it.
I found a breeder right here in Loganville so last night we went to see the litter and picked out an eleven week old female chocolate lab. She is as sweet as she can be and so pretty. Grace just LOVES her! We are crate training and she doesn't like that very much and we had some crying in the middle of the night but so far she is fitting in just fine!

A SAD DAY....

Today we said goodbye to our sweet dog Erkskin

OUR WEEKEND...

This was another big weekend. On Friday night we went to the new LHS stadium to watch the football game. Since it was the grand opening they had four sky divers fly in before the game. Grace was SO amazed by everything, she watched everything from the skydivers to the game to the cheerleaders to the band to the people of Loganville.

She was such a good girl and fell into a hard sleep after the game.

On Saturday we went to one of Chad's boys soccer games in Gainsville and then took Grace to her friends Erin's for a spend the night party. Chad and I got a fun night out to see the Carolina/ UGA game. GO GAMECOCKS! We had SO much fun and had the best company.
This is a picture of Grace taking her overnight bag to the car.

On Sunday we continued with our busy schedule with church, another soccer game and youth group.
Hanging out in the cool car before the hot game.
Chad goofing off with the youth.

Some exciting new! On Friday I had a routine doctors appointment. I had a quick ultrasound and saw the baby!!! IT was so cute. It was moving all around. It is amazing in just a few quick weeks between the ultrasounds it went from a little thing that looked like rice to a baby with a head, arms, legs, etc. It was very exciting to see!
